CC Hardy is a native of Smithfield, VA. She often refers to herself as an “Old Country Girl.” She’s the middle child of the late Hezekiah and Bernice Parker Wilkerson. Her parents helped her to understand what it was to know and accept Christ at an early age. After graduating from high school, she continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University majoring in Social Work with a minor in History. She matriculated at Norfolk State University earning a M.S. Degree in Gerontology focusing on Intergenerational Programs.

CC was able to implement and design an Intergenerational Program for the City of Newport News Parks and Recreation Mature Adult Program called the “Gap Exchange.” This program won a VRPS award in 1999 as “The Best New Program” in the Virginia Recreation and Park Society. 

CC has a Doctoral Degree in Biblical Studies and believes in community outreach. She is the Program Manager of the JTC Life-Changing Center which happens to be a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency. She has developed programs for those in the community and those within the Penal System. She has been an advocate for those who are underserved and those who sometimes fall between the cracks of society. She has a love for serving diverse populations. CC specializes in Counseling and Mental Health. She desires to help someone along the way. 

In her spare time, she enjoys Fencing, Riding (horseback/bike), Fishing, Cooking, Pickleball, Badminton, Writing, Reading, and Traveling.

CC currently resides in Hampton, VA with her husband, son, and pet, "St. Nick."
